This past year has been one of major cleaning and clearing of my own internal limiting patterns. I am not the same person I was a year ago when Lighten Up with Velma was originally launched. WOW! what a difference a year makes.

I have used these very tools and techniques to help me in making these powerful life changes in my body, mind, spirit, home, office, finances, health, and relationships with others. You can experience this too! Hundreds of the people I have worked with have experienced profound Success in the Transformation of their lives also. I would be honored to join you in Lightening Up the areas of your life where you would love more Peace and Harmony to shine through.

ABOUT

Hi, welcome. My name is Velma Alford and I am a Light Language teacher, a T.A.T.® Certified Professional, and a T.A.T.® Certified Trainer. I began my conscious spiritual journey in 2001. During that time, I read many books on spirituality; took classes, courses, and workshops. I developed and nurtured many spiritual relationships, online as well as in my local area. As I learned so much, I began to feel more confident, trusting that I was exactly where I needed to be and that I was on the path that I was meant to be walking.

In 2003, I was introduced to the Mayan-Aztec teachings of Light Language. Class after class, grid after grid, and after much personal processing and healing work, I asked the question that would change my life forever.

I asked my teacher, mentor and dear friend, Richard Gordon (founder of The Planetary Coalition of Love and Lightworkers), "What do I have to do to be a lightworker?" I want to be a lightworker too". His response sent me on an ever evolving adventure. He said, "You want to be a lightworker, then you are a lightworker, so be a lightworker." Oh my gosh! what did that look like for me? I had no clue. I would spend years finding out where I fit into this huge picture of Life, finding my spiritual life's work and soul purpose, searching for who I really am, breaking down my inner walls of disempowerment and fear, unhealthy stuck and stored patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that would no longer serve me. I had to learn to forgive, myself and others, I had to learn about self-worth, I had to learn to be empowered, to take responsibility for my Life, to step up.

One day while in another Light Language class, I wondered what part I could possibly fulfill that would help me to be of service in my life and in the lives of those around me. I wanted to know how one person could make a difference. The answer came quickly...."To begin with, I would like to see you bring Light Language to the people in the form of everyday products. I would like you to put Light Language symbols and text that I will give you onto everything. Start from the ground up, bring this ancient wisdom and knowledge to the people. They will feel attracted to an item and may not really know why, but the energy and power of Light Language will be there, it will call to them, and they will be blessed in whatever way serves their greatest and highest good in that moment."

Well! Inwardly, I freaked. I could not understand how in the world someone like me could do that. I did not believe that I was hearing right, much less that I was capable of answering that divine call. As more time passed and step by step, I allowed my limited beliefs to be healed, released and transformed. I am still taking all of this in, step by step, experiencing as much as possible along the way. My life has been transformed in so many ways, and yet there are so many places where I welcome more transformation. It will come. I have no doubt. With the same tools of Light Language and T.A.T.® I used to get me here, I offer them to you.

It is my intent and purpose to move through life from here on out, as consciously as possible. Healing the areas of my life's experiences that still hold painful wounds. I love my life and I love the people who are a part of it all. Some relationships have been hard and some have been delightfully fun and easy. All of which I honor and hold sacred.

I have many goals yet to accomplish and it is my hope and dream that you become a part of my Now. This website has been created with integrity, love, and reverence. I hope that you feel comfortable and honored here. I hope that you find the information exciting and powerful and are able to use it to help you shed the stuff that keeps you from soaring. I hope that your inner-actions are Lightened by Light Language and T.A.T.® and I hope that these creations help to connect you to the knowing and remembering of the spectacular Being of You. I am proud of where I am and it continues to be a privilege to be a part of this co-creation. I look forward to sharing my passions for Light Language and T.A.T.® with you.

May our paths cross again and again, and together may we bridge the illusive gaps of separation.
